SMS opt-in & messaging disclosure
Last updated: September 5, 2026
JD Digital Holdings LLC (d/b/a Regulars) operates regularsweb.com, a software platform local businesses — restaurants, salons, auto shops, gyms and clinics — use to run their website, take orders and bookings, and message their own customers. This page documents exactly how a customer consents to receive text messages, what those messages contain, and how to stop them.
Who sends the messages
- On behalf of a local business.Order updates, review requests and occasional offers, sent to that business’s own customers. Every message names the business and ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.” Consent is stored per business and is never shared between businesses.
- From Regulars directly. One-time verification codes and account or service notices to people who hold a Regulars account. These are transactional and are not marketing.
How customers opt in
Opt-in is by web form only. There is no keyword campaign, no paper form, and no purchased or imported list. On a website built by Regulars, the customer enters their phone number in the checkout or booking form and separately ticks an optional, unchecked consent box.
Marketing and transactional consent are captured separately.Messages about the customer’s own order — that it is ready, a booking confirmation or reminder, and a follow-up asking how it went — follow from giving the business a phone number to complete that order, and are disclosed in plain text beside the phone field. The checkbox is for promotional messages only, so a customer can accept one without the other. Both surfaces carry identical wording:
We'll text you when your order is ready, and may ask how it went afterwards — no account needed.
Reproduction for reference. The box is unchecked by default and the order completes normally if it is left unticked.
We'll text your confirmation and a reminder, and may ask how it went afterwards — no account needed.
Reproduction for reference. The box is unchecked by default and the booking completes normally if it is left unticked.
The checkbox is unchecked by default, is never pre-selected, and is never bundled with any other agreement. Checkout and booking complete normally when it is left unticked — marketing consent is never a condition of purchase. The phone number itself is required for the order, so the business can reach the customer about that order; the marketing consent is the separate, optional tick.
See it live
To reach the working checkbox on a real client site: open this restaurant’s menu, add any item to the cart, then open the cart and continue to checkout. The consent box sits directly beneath the contact fields.
